Here is my short discussion on the foundational principles in building trust and respect in doctor-patient interactions from the Shen-Hammer model, including pulse and other diagnostics, in framing narratives around patients’ experiences of symptoms and dis-ease, as well as on the topic of zhuyou 祝由 (incantatory medicine).
